Yes, There is a better browser to use! Netscape and Internet Explorer render images more consistently than AOL's browser which tends to leave artifacts or chunky unintended streaks in images. If you are experiencing this with your AOL browser, go to preferences and select slower download / better images.

Whichever browser you are on, version 5.x or higher is recommended. Netscape and Internet Explorer no longer support 4.x and below, and neither do we. Netscape 7 seems to be a bit problematic at present.
